Hatred "anathemas" in the military

I suggest that in this day and age where by some of the information we are learning is that the military routinely uses psychiatric evaluations to disqualify and denigrate some of its members from military service, there may in fact be a hate anathema in the command structure of many of the military posts and that may contribute to a negative overall health of our service members as well as our future citizens who are released from miltiary service for frivilous and over written psychiatric statements and diagnoses.

I personally have had this as my own experience in the Air Force and I am reading and hoping more will be examined that there are others in the same situation and predicament.

I would suggest that the miltary command structure finds soldiers and non combatants whom they may not have a positive image of overall or perhaps find that they are troublesome or less than in shape for service requirements.

In all, it is my belief that if a member is taken into the service, that the service has an obligation to serve and protect that individual as well as offer all necessary medical treatment to keep that person in a positive role in the military.

Considering that there are many stories of persons with physical disabilities that are in many cases resultant from war time exercises that are returned to duty and continue a career, there should be much consideration for those with mental health issues that are to be considered in some way or capacity capable of serving in some form in the military as they had signed up or enlisted themselves to carry out.

This situation is undignifying and it is a major source of further mental health issues in many of our citizens and military personell who are discharged from duty for a mental health disorder.

Much was done at least in my own situation to document that my case existed prior to service (as I had previously seen a counselor for sleep issues) as well to keep the member out of all military benefits for the remainder of their citizenship.

The situation I suggest is quite demeaning and threatening in many ways.
Most people today should be advised that if they sign up for military service in this nations Military today that there is a good chance that if they do not seem to "work out" for their designated command structure, that they may face psychiatric command directed evaluations that may influence all of the future of their employment in all times as a discharged military personell and future citizen.

This to me is a very unethical and unpatriotic situation and it would I think discourage any knowing voluteer from considering some duties in the future and perhaps some of our best and brightest.
